Europa '72: The Complete Recordings é um box set de gravações ao vivo da banda de rock Grateful Dead. Anunciado como um "mega box set", que contém todos turnê da banda concerto primavera 1972 da Europa - 22. Shows completos,  em 73 CDs  Foi lançado em 01 de setembro de 2011.

Todos os 22 concertos da Europa '72: The Complete Recordings também foram produzidos como álbuns individuais, a maioria deles em três ou quatro CDs. Eles foram lançados em ordem cronológica, em quatro lotes, de outubro a dezembro de 2011.  Cada um dos álbuns individuais cobre inclui obras de arte por Scott McDougall, inspirado na frente e no verso da capa que foi criado por Stanley Mouse e Alton Kelley para o original do álbum '72 Europa.

Os CDs do álbum foram criadas por remixando os originais fitas de 16 canais analógicos. O conjunto foi masterizado em formato HDCD. Isso proporciona qualidade de som melhorada quando reproduzidas em leitores de CD com capacidade de HDCD, mas é totalmente compatível com CD players convencionais.

A coleção foi anunciado pela primeira vez em 19 de janeiro de 2011 e foi descrito como consistindo em mais de 60 CDs ",. No entanto, a contagem de CD final foi de 73  Inicialmente, o conjunto foi oferecido apenas como uma edição exclusiva e limitada de 7.200 cópias, cada um dos quais é encerrado em uma caixa que parece um baú, e inclui um livro de capa dura ilustrada e outro material de bónus. O primeiro destes 3.000 conjuntos são personalizados com o nome de escolha do comprador.  A demanda foi muito maior do que o previsto, e todos os 7.200 conjuntos foram vendidos on-line dentro de quatro dias. Em resposta à demanda em curso, cópias posteriores da série foram lançados, apelidado Europe '72: The Complete Recordings — All the Music Edition, que têm embalagem individual para cada concerto, com encarte, mas que não incluem o caso baú , o livro, ou os outros extras.
Quatro anteriores álbuns ao vivo foram retirados de turnê da banda em 1972 Europeu. Europa '72 foi lançado em 1972 como um LP triplo, e mais tarde relançado como CD duplo, e tem vocais que foram overdubbed no estúdio de gravação.  Hundred Year Hall é um CD de dois discos retirados da 26 de abril concerto em Frankfurt. Steppin para fora com o Grateful Dead: '72 Inglaterra é um CD de quatro discos de seleções de vários concertos em Inglaterra. E Rockin 'the Rhein com o Grateful Dead, em três discos, contém o concerto completo de 24 de abril em Düsseldorf.

Além disso, uma nova coleção, Europa '72 Volume 2, lançado em setembro de 2011, conta com dois CDs de performances extraídas de as gravações completas. Nenhuma das canções deste álbum foram também incluídos na Europa 72.
