Streetwalkers(Prostitutas) eram uma banda de rock Inglês formado no final de 1973 por dois ex-membros do Family, o vocalista Roger Chapman e o guitarrista John "Charlie" Whitney. Eles eram uma banda de cinco, que evoluiu a partir da banda the Chapman, Whitney band.

A banda foi gerenciada por Michael Alphandary and Harvey Goldsmith e foram mais conhecidos por suas performances ao vivo e seu álbum Red Card (1976).. Em 1977 o seu potencial para se tornar mais importante no Reino Unido história do rock foi diminuída, alterando o gosto musical, devido à crescente influência do punk rock e da música New Wave na cultura europeia. A banda teve sucesso nos EUA e na Europa, particularmente na Alemanha. 

Em 12 de Junho 1976 eles fizeram sua primeira aparição para John Peel em suas "Peel Sessions" gravadas pela rádio BBC, com o line-up de Chapman, Whitney, Tench, Plotel e McBrain  e foram apresentados por Peel uma vez mais como "Peel session", em 14 de março de 1977.  em 19 de Abril do mesmo ano, eles fizeram sua última aparição no Rockpalast, com um line-up que incluía Chapman, Whitney, Tench, o tecladista Brian Johnstone, o baixista Mickey Feat e o baterista David Dowle que mais tarde se juntou Whitesnake.
