The Concert For Bangladesh foi o título do evento para dois shows beneficentes organizados por George Harrison e Ravi Shankar, realizada ao meio-dia e às 7:00 horas do dia 1 de agosto de 1971, tocando para um total de 40.000 pessoas no Madison Square Garden, em Nova York . Organizado para o alívio dos refugiados do Paquistão Oriental (agora independente Bangladesh) após o ciclone Bhola 1970 e 1971 atrocidades durante o Bangladesh e Bangladesh Liberation War, o evento foi o primeiro concerto beneficente desta magnitude na história do mundo. Ele apresentava um all-star supergrupo de artistas que incluía Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Badfinger, e Ringo Starr.

Ambos os shows à tarde e à noite foram filmadas e gravadas para um álbum, com Phil Spector supervisionar a gravação de som. O filme, lançado em 1972, imagens combinadas de ambos os shows com a preferência de George Harrison das performances das canções. Harrison tarde queixou-se que metade dos operadores de câmera parece ter sido concedendo em substâncias ilegais, o que deixou o foco de alguns tiros e macio.A abertura do filme traz imagens de uma conferência de imprensa para anunciar o concerto com Harrison e Shankar. Harrison é perguntado por um repórter: "Com todos os grandes problemas do mundo, como você fez para escolher um presente para fazer alguma coisa?"
