FRUMPY
Os quatro músicos que formaram FRUMPY eram todos membros do irlandês O' Brian-Docker's da folkband The City Preachers, que ele fundou em 1965 em Hamburgo. The City Preachers jogou uma excelente mistura de música folk americano e britânico e tinha, por vezes, mais de uma dúzia de pessoas no palco. Descontentamento com o cantor Dagmar Krause, baterista Carsten Bohn esquerda da Cidade Pregadores, em Novembro de 1969 e tomou cantora Inga Rumpf, keyboarder francês Jean-Jacques Kravetz e guitarrista Karl-Heinz Schott com ele para formar FRUMPY. Na Primavera de 1970, FRUMPY iniciou uma bem sucedida turnê de França. No mesmo ano, eles foram em uma turnê com 50 concertos Spooky TOOTH, e jogou com YES, Humble Pie e renascentista. No Outono de 1970, FRUMPY publicou o primeiro álbum "All Will Be Changed", que continha apenas material próprio, com excepção de um Richie Havens capa. No ano seguinte, ingressou guitarrista Rainer Baumann FRUMPY e jogado sobre as bandas segundo LP "Frumpy 2", que foi rapped em um saco plástico redondo. Na Alemanha, o álbum foi bem recebido e provou que música rock da Alemanha poderia viver até aos padrões internacionais. Sua música combina jazz, soul e elementos orientais com o teclado como o instrumento mais importante. FRUMPY lideravam a Musik Express sondagem alemão como o mais popular grupo de rock do ano e do jornal FAZ assistida cantor Inga Rumpf de ser "o país o maior talento individual", mas uma viagem de Inglaterra com MOTT THE HOOPLE não conseguiu atrair popularidade na Grã-Bretanha. Musical diferenças com keyboarder Kravetz causou-lhe para deixar FRUMPY, na Primavera de 1972, para gravar um Lp solo com Inga Rumpf cantar uma canção. Mas ele voltou para a gravação de sessões FRUMPY do terceiro LP "By The Way". Mas FRUMPY dissolvida após uma despedida concerto em 26 de junho de 1972. Inga Rumpf, Jean-Jacques Kravetz e Karl-Heinz Schott formado ATLANTIS. O ano de 1990 viu um FRUMPY e reuniu um novo LP "Now!".
