Azarias, também conhecido por Caim (Nathaniel Peterson) é um músico veterano. No ano do Dragão e do mês do leão, Nathaniel Peterson Jr., nasceu em Memphis, TN. Em seis anos de idade sua família mudou-se para Detroit, MI, e foi lá que o amor pela música entrou na sua alma. Blues, Jazz e R & B encheu seu coração eo Creator of the Universe estimulou seu espírito. Após 6 anos, em Detroit, a família mudou-se para Nathaniel MT. Clemens, MI e este é onde a música mudou sua vida. O verão de protesto e de mudança é o lugar onde todos se reuniram para Nathaniel. Ensaiando com a sua guitarra baixo toda a noite e dia, então a tocar com todos os músicos em seu bairro, Nathaniel ficou conhecido como "Azarias Caim". Azarias nunca se contentou em tocar um estilo de música e ele demonstrou desde cedo a sua capacidade de ser extremamente flexível quanto à forma e conteúdo.
Até o final dos anos 70, Azarias Caim decidiu deixar o país e viajar pelo mundo. Retornando em finais dos anos 80 e aterragem em Toronto, um lugar que ele nunca tinha estado mas tinha amigos que moravam lá. Enquanto no Canadá, Azarias tocou com o amigo Joe Mavety (guitarrista da banda Maryanne Fiel's) para 4 anos. Azarias em seguida, se mudou para San Francisco, Los Angeles e, em seguida, formou sua própria banda, Mama Roo. Enquanto em LA, Azarias conseguiu um contrato de gravação e excursionou pelos Estados Unidos por 2 anos. Eles formaram uma nova banda e realizado com os gostos de Phil Chen (baixista do Jeff Beck e Rod Stewart), Skunk Baxter (guitarrista do Doobie Brothers), Cindy Lauper, Donny Osmond, Steve Lukather (guitarrista do Toto), Billy Preston, Jeff Porcaro (baterista do Toto), Lee Sklar (baixista do Phil Collins), Kenny Lewis (da Steve Miller Band), Kenny Loggins, Burton Cummings (do Guess Who), Spencer Davis, Eddie Harris, Gerald Johnson (baixista do da Steve Miller Band), o baterista Greg Bissonette (de David Lee Roth), Clarence McDonald (pianista de James Taylor), Jim Keltner (baterista do Traveling Wilburies e Eric Clapton).

Afinal de jogo que, Azarias queria retirar-se para sua casa, no deserto de Mojave, mas Kim Simmons do Savoy Brown ligou e pediu-lhe para cantar e tocar baixo para o grupo de blues lendário Inglês. Azarias foi para Nova York, e excursionou com Savoy Brown durante 4 anos, gravou um álbum e foi o artista convidado em álbuns de muitos outros grandes músicos. Azarias gravada com Keith Richards (Rolling Stones), Helms Levon (baterista da banda), e Eric Clapton no Grammy Hubert Sumlin nomeado álbum "About Them Shoes". Azarias cantou 4 músicas deste álbum. Enquanto estiver tocando com o Savoy Brown, Azarias também gravou com Peter Green (do Fleetwood Mac), Bell Carry (gaitista de Howlin 'Wolf), Coco Montoya (guitarrista de John Mayall), o pianista Pinetop Perkins (de Muddy Waters), Paul Usher ( gaitista de Muddy Waters), Leo Lyons (baixista do Ten Years After), Rodger Earl (baterista do Foghat), Tom Compton (baterista Johnny Winters).
Depois de sua passagem com Savoy Brown foi concluída, Azarias voltou para a Califórnia para trabalhar em sua alma, a música eo futuro, em jejum há 40 dias e 40 noites. Depois disso, ele ficou em um alojamento do suor com Shamans por 24 horas. Azarias Quando terminou, ele teve uma nova visão e um novo nome. Seus irmãos nativos chamavam Orenda, mas o Espírito de Deus chamou-lhe Azarias, o nome que ele havia esperado por toda sua vida. Havia os gostos de Clive Bunker (do Jethro Tull), Tony Martin (ex-vocalista do Black Sabbath), Mike Hickey (guitarrista do Venom e Carcass), Graham Oliver (guitarrista do Saxon), Tom Compton (baterista Johnny Winters), Bobby Dixon (pianista e filho de Willie Dixon), Martin Hammerle, Mark Craney (de Gino e Geno), TC Tolliver (baterista do Plasmatics) e alguns dos melhores músicos da Itália. Azarias tocando com Ten Years After como vocalista, fez alguns shows com Uli Jon Roth (ex-Scorpions) e Eric Martin (vocalista do Mr. Big) e depois mudou para os Estados Unidos.

Azariah Cain Blues - "I AM THE BLUES!"

Azariah Cain a.k.a. (Nathaniel Peterson) is a veteran musician. In the year of the Dragon and the month of the Lion, Nathaniel Peterson, Jr. was born in Memphis, TN. At age six his family moved to Detroit, MI, and it was there that the love of music entered his soul. Blues, Jazz and R & B filled his heart and the Creator of the Universe stimulated his spirit. After 6 years in Detroit, Nathaniel's family moved to Mt. Clemens, MI and this is where music changed his life. The summer of protest and change is where it all came together for Nathaniel. Rehearsing with his bass guitar all night and day, then jamming with every musician in his neighborhood, Nathaniel became known as "Azariah Cain". Azariah, as he prefers to be called, became restless and wanted to travel the world playing music, so he left home at age 13. He was unaware that he would soon be playing with future legends and some of the best musicians in the world. Music greats such as Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Hubert Sumlin, Steve Gaines (Lynard Skynard), Mitch Ryder, Rusty Day (of Amboy Dukes and Cactus), Fred Smith (Guitarist of MC5 & Patti Smith Band), Wayne Cramer (guitarist of MC5), Scott Ashton (guitarist & drummer of Iggy Pop), Tim Buckley, Scott Richards, and Jack White (drummer of Rick Springfield). Azariah was never content to play one style of music and he demonstrated early on his ability to be extremely flexible as to form and content. By the late 70's, Azariah Cain decided to leave the country and travel the world. Returning in the late 80's and landing in Toronto, a place he had never been but had friends who lived there.

While in Canada, Azariah played with friend Joe Mavety (guitarist of Maryanne Faithful's band) for 4 years. Azariah then moved to San Francisco, then Los Angeles and formed his own band, Mama Roo. While in L.A., Azariah landed a record deal and toured the United States for 2 years. By 1992, Azariah bought a home in the desert, but didn't move in right away because he was writing songs with Scott Page (sax player with Pink Floyd and Toto). Scott and Azariah recorded music with Steve Ferris (guitarist with Mister Mister), Roc Deadrick (drummer of Tracey Chapman), Larry Treadwell (guitarist of Thomas Dolby), Steve Fister (guitarist of Steppenwolf and Lita Ford). The Azariah and Scott Page project recorded songs and even played gigs but it eventually folded. They formed a new band and performed with the likes of Phil Chen (bassist of Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart), Skunk Baxter (guitarist of the Doobie Brothers), Cindy Lauper, Donny Osmond, Steve Lukather (guitarist of Toto), Billy Preston, Jeff Porcaro (drummer of Toto), Lee Sklar (bassist of Phil Collins), Kenny Lewis (of the Steve Miller Band), Kenny Loggins, Burton Cummings (of the Guess Who), Spencer Davis, Eddie Harris, Gerald Johnson (bassist of the Steve Miller Band), Greg Bissonette (drummer of David Lee Roth), Clarence McDonald (pianist for James Taylor), Jim Keltner (drummer of the Traveling Wilburies and Eric Clapton). After all that playing, Azariah wanted to retreat to his home in the Mojave desert, but Kim Simmons from Savoy Brown called and asked him to sing and play bass for the legendary English blues group. Azariah headed to New York and toured with Savoy Brown for 4 years, recorded one album and was the guest artist on many other great musicians' albums. Azariah recorded with Keith Richards (Rolling Stones), Levon Helms (drummer of The Band), and Eric Clapton on Hubert Sumlin's Grammy nominated album "About Them Shoes". Azariah sang 4 songs on this album. While playing with Savoy Brown, Azariah also recorded with Peter Green (of Fleetwood Mac), Carry Bell (harp player for Howlin' Wolf), Coco Montoya (guitarist for John Mayall), Pinetop Perkins (pianist of Muddy Waters), Paul Usher (harp player for Muddy Waters), Leo Lyons (bassist of Ten Years After), Rodger Earl (drummer of Foghat), Tom Compton (drummer of Johnny Winters). After his stint with Savoy Brown was completed, Azariah returned to California to work on his soul, music and future by fasting for 40 days and 40 nights. After that, he stayed in a sweat lodge with Shamans for 24 hours. When Azariah finished, he had a new vision and a new name. His native brothers called him Orenda, but the spirit of God named him Azariah, the name he had waited for all his life. He is now called, "Azariah Cain" and is on the new beginning of his Mystic Journey. After Azariah received a call to go on tour with Buddy Miles (drummer for Jimi Hendrix) he left for Germany and completed a European tour. Azariah then returned to the desert, but received a call to tour Italy with his own band Twin Dragons. Twin Dragons toured Europe for 3 years and Azariah played with many great musicians as the band changed. There were the likes of Clive Bunker (from Jethro Tull), Tony Martin (former singer of Black Sabbath), Mike Hickey (guitarist of Venom and Carcass), Graham Oliver (guitarist of Saxon), Tom Compton (drummer of Johnny Winters), Bobby Dixon (piano player and son of Willie Dixon), Martin Hammerle, Mark Craney (of Gino Vanelli), T.C. Tolliver (drummer of the Plasmatics) and some of the finest musicians in Italy. Azariah played with Ten Years After as lead singer, did some shows with Uli Jon Roth (formerly of the Scorpions) and Eric Martin (singer of Mr. Big) and then moved home to the United States.
