Moontan é um álbum de rock da banda holandês Golden Earring, lançado em 1973. Ele contém o seu rádio mais notável hit, "Radar Love" e foi eleito o melhor álbum holandês pop já pelos leitores de um dos país conhecido Oor melhor música revistas em 2008.  No Q & Classic Mojo Special Edition Pink Floyd & O história do Rock Prog, o álbum veio # 32 em sua lista de "40 álbuns de rock cósmico". 

De acordo com Ozzy Osbourne do Black Sabbath, durante a gravação de seu quinto álbum Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Tony Iommi sofreu de bloqueio criativo e não foi capaz de produzir qualquer riffs que costumavam ser o principal órgão de canções banda. Depois de ouvir álbum Moontan, algo aconteceu e Iommi escreveu um riff que acabou sendo o riff principal título da música Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Esta é também a listagem completa sobre a libertação inicial de vinyl  Reino Unido , bem como nas primeiras prensagens LP dos EUA (Track / MCA 396). A versão dos EUA do álbum foi originalmente lançado com o "dançarina exótico" UK capa, mas foi rapidamente retirado e substituído com o "brinco" .
