Livin' Blues

Embora proeminente Dutch blues band Livin 'Blues de The Hague veio a proeminência em 1969, tinham sido em torno desde 1967. O line-up até então era: Ted Oberg (guitar, ex-Crashdown e Andy Star & Stripes), Ruud Fransen (baixo, ex-Stripes), Bjorn Toll (vocals), Niek Dijkhuys (bateria) e John Lagrand (harpa, ex-Indiscrimination). Em 1968, o line-up mudou para: Ted, John, Nicko Christiansen (vocals, guitar & sax; ex-Crashdown e Indiscrimination).), Peter Kleinjan (contrabaixo), Cerveja Klaasse (bateria, ex-Groep 1850 e logo depois a Q ' 65), e até ao final de 1968 featured Ted, John, Nicko, Henk Smitskamp (teclados, ex-Propostas), Gerard Strutbaum (baixo) e Cesar Zuiderwijk (bateria, ex-Hu & Hilltops). O line-up do grupo continuou a flutuar, em 1969, é caracterizado Ted, Nicko, John, Henk (agora no baixo), Cesar. Mais tarde naquele mesmo ano, foi substituído por Gerard Ruud van Buuren, o ex-Botas. (Gerard Depois da partida, Henk jogou o baixo por um tempo, depois à esquerda para entrar Sandy Costa.) Em 1970, Cesar deixou o grupo para se juntar Golden Earring e foi sucedido por, resp., John den Blanke (ex-Soul Serenade) e Dick Beekman (ex-Cuby, para Lynx). Em 1971, John Lejeune (ex-Ilha, a Schick Band) entrou no grupo como o novo baterista, como fez, em 1972, Herman van Boeyen (ex-Panda). Além disso, houve uma mudança de bassists: em 1971, Ruud van Buuren passou a aderir Long Tall Ernie e foi sucedido por Jan van der Voort (ex-Full House, mais tarde no Free & Easy), que, em 1972, foi , por sua vez, substituído por por Jaap van Eijk (ex-Panda). Em 1973, Ted deixou o grupo por alguns meses, foram adicionados dois novos percussionistas: inglês Kenny Lamb (ex-Jellybread) e Arjen Kamminga (mais tarde, em Marcos Foggo & Secret Meeting). 

Em 1974, o grupo da linha foi totalmente revisto, uma vez mais, também mais atenção do que foi feito no rock blues na sua recém-aprovada direcção. O line-up featured: Ted, Johnny Frederiksz (vocal, ex-Temple, Kjoe, Q'65) e Henk Smitskamp (costas, em baixo, ex-Shocking Blue). Em 1975, o ex-Finch organist Paul Vink também participou de um curto período de tempo. Outras adições envolvidos: Ron Meyes (guitarra, ex-Brainbox, Q'65, para Marx e destreza) e Cor van Beek (drums, ex-Leo Unger, mais tarde, em Headline, substituiu Michel Driessen, em 1974, o ex-Cobra). 1976 O line-up foi: Ted, Johnny, André Reynen (baixo, ex-Sympathy), Jacob van Heiningen (bateria, ex-Galaxis) & Johnny Frederiksz (vocais). Jacob van Heiningen (DR, ex-Galaxis, substituído por Ed Molenwijk, ex-Dizzy Daisy, ao Casino). Esta linha tornou-se muito bem sucedida na Polónia com a série de performances ao vivo. Posteriormente, Pietjan Visser (h, ex-Houseband) vieram e reforçou o grupo em 1979, e quase completamente um novo line-up seguido em 1980: Ted Oberg (g), Nicko Christiansen (v, g, ex-Himalaya), Evert Willemstein (b) e Boris Wassenbergh (DR, ex-Cashmere). Nesse mesmo ano, André Reynen, Johnny Frederiksz e Pietjan Visser formado Nitehawk. Nem a banda durou muito tempo, por isso formou o Johnny e Ted J & T Band (ver Grizzly). Paul Vink passou a aderir Limousine, John Lagrand - Water, Nicko Christiansen - Himalaya, Dick Beekman - Big Rock Revival, Pietjan - Rex Reason Bluesband e Evert - Bizarre.
